Our Story
InnerQore Health Psychology and Wellness was founded by Dr. Jeremy Frank, Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychologist. Dr. Frank entered private practice as a sole practitioner in 2006. Over the years, he was joined by a number of clinicians, and changed the name of the practice to Dr. Jeremy Frank and Associates. In August 2022 the practice further evolved into InnerQore Health Psychology and Wellness and settled into our current physical location at 19 Centre Street in Thornhill, Ontario.
Our team at InnerQore Health includes a range of providers including Registered Psychologists, Psychological Associates, Social Workers, and Registered Psychotherapists. We are closely networked with a team of other health professionals, including Psychiatrists, Clinical Neuropsychologists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists and have an in-house Registered Dietitian on staff.
Built in 1825 in the Neo-Classical style by a carpenter named Robert Shuter, the practice building is one of Thornhill Village’s oldest houses. Since 1869, it has been the home of many of Thornhill’s doctors, during which time it became known by the name “Homewood Hall.” The house initially underwent renovation in the 1960s and then very recently received an addition and underwent a major renovation between 2020 and 2022. The building is now home to two separate clinical practices—InnerQore Health: Psychology and Wellness and Dr. David Kurzman and Associates (a neuropsychology practice). We are proud to call this beautiful piece of history our home.

As a full-service psychological practice, working at InnerQore Health provides you with the opportunity to engage in evidence-based practice in a supportive and patient-centered environment. Our diverse team specializes in the provision of assessment, psychotherapy, and consultation services to a broad clientele, with the overarching goal of improving client mental health and quality of life.
We are always looking for motivated and skilled individuals to join our collaborative team! Applicants should be licensed (or eligible for a license) for supervised or autonomous practice with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO), the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
Clinical training opportunities at InnerQore Health Psychology and Wellness aim to teach and hone clinical skills in psychological assessment and psychotherapy. Positions are available for individuals at different levels:
- We occasionally train and hire individuals who are in the process of completing or who have completed their Undergraduate studies in Psychology and who are interested in pursuing graduate work. Individuals at this stage are taught to basic psychometry and interviewing skills and can assist with report reporting.
- We offer clinical assessment and psychotherapy training practicum placements for Masters or Doctoral students currently enrolled in Clinical Psychology graduate programs.
- We regularly hire Psychologists and Psychological Associates in Supervised Practice (as well as those who are eligible for licensure with the College of Psychologists of Ontario as Psychologists or Psychological Associates in Supervised Practice).
Clinical training opportunities include didactic training seminars on a variety of topics pertaining to clinical assessment, psychotherapy, and professional practice related issues, in addition to individual supervision, and peer consultation / group supervision meetings on a weekly basis. We are a cohesive team of psychologists, psychological associates, clinical social workers, registered psychotherapists, and registered dietitians that enjoys providing and receiving professional consultation and support in a warm and collegial environment. Students and staff can attend training, consultation, and supervision meetings virtually and in our offices in Thornhill.
