Dr. Jeremy Frank is a Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and is licensed to practice with adolescents, adults and couples. He is also a licensed member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Psychology Board. Dr. Frank earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2004 from the University of Windsor and has completed a pre-doctoral clinical internship (fully accredited by the American Psychological Association) in the Department of Psychiatry. His training and experience include work in psychological trauma, treatment of chronic pain, assessment of disability, and rehabilitation following injuries. In addition his expert testimony has been accepted by FSCO arbitrators and by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Dr. Frank also has considerable experience providing psychotherapy to victims of motor vehicle accidents and work-related injuries and is well-known for conducting psychological disability assessments. Dr. Frank is the President of the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment (CAPDA) where he serves as Chair of the Credentialing Committee. He holds C-CAT(MB) and CMLE(O) Certifications from the CAPDA | CSME as a founding developer of both the Certification in Catastrophic Impairment Evaluation (C-CAT) and Certification in Medico-Legal Expertise (CMLE) training and certification programs. He also is one of the core course instructors for topics related to the assessment of psychological impairment and sits on the Examination and Executive Committees for both programs.
Dr. Frank has a strong interest in professional issues in the practice of psychology, specifically in treating individuals struggling with relationship issues. He is regularly invited to speak at conferences and workshops, has taught several undergraduate courses, and has supervised master’s-degree clinicians, doctoral students and PhD-level psychologists in clinical and rehabilitation assessment and treatment. He currently serves as a peer reviewer for the academic journal Psychological Injury and Law.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, reading fiction and watching movies.
